Cranes to move Hay? I was sure he must be joking. Instead he bought a few crane parts and pieces and rebuilt a few cranes for haylage bales.

Bucyrus Erie

This crane is a Bucyrus Erie and it works great for haylage and it doesn't get stuck in the mud or make any mud!

This train crane came from the local rail yard near the lumber mill. Now it is at our barn and it swings the haylage into the field for the cows.

During the ice storm we lost several trees so John pulled them out with the cranes and we have firewood for many years to come!
